A breathtaking 360° TSHA music video debuts at Outernet London. ‘Sister’, directed by Alice Bloomfield and produced by Ridley Scott Creative Group and Black Dog Films, features an arcadian manga-inspired world.
Showing daily from 1:05pm then regularly throughout the day
The multi-screen immersive video for the London-based producer and DJ was created by illustrator and animator Alice Bloomfield, and will screen on the Outernet’s four storey, floor to ceiling, 360-degree, 16k screens.
The project is the first commission from the Outernet and Ridley Scott Creative Group production company Black Dog Films as part of the TMRW NW commission, and launches to coincide with the physical release of TSHA’s debut album ‘Capricorn Sun’ on Ninja Tune (25/11).
TMRW NW aims to discover young creatives capable of producing films and A/V content that fully utilises the Outernet’s screen scale, definition, and configuration, with ‘Sister’ forming the blueprint for the future of experiential videos.
Using a VR headset to simulate the space, Alice worked with the Outernet team over a two-year production process to map the animation across the screens and visualise how the video would play out.
About TSHA
One of the hottest artists in the UK music scene in 2022, TSHA’s debut album ‘Capricorn Sun’ arrived after an unstoppable rise built on a series of critically acclaimed singles and career defining DJ sets. Hotly tipped by everyone from Annie Mac, Bonobo and Gorillaz to Billboard, NME, Crack, Mixmag and DJ Mag, London-based artist TSHA is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting talents in electronic music. Last year saw TSHA named ‘Breakthrough Artist of the Year’ at the BBC R1 Dance Awards 2021, and her debut album has recently been nominated for “Best Album of the Year” by DJ Mag. Hugely in-demand by both her peers and wider industry; in the past 12 months, TSHA has collaborated with Diplo, J Balvin, Aluna & HONNE. She closes 2022 following a blistering year, playing 100+ shows across the globe including Glastonbury Festival and a residency at the legendary DC-10, hosting her very own BBC Radio 1 Residency, and gracing magazine covers and billboards across the UK and US for the likes of Mixmag, Spotify, YouTube and Amazon UK.

The TMRW NW partnership was launched by the Ridley Scott Creative Group and Outernet to seek out young creatives who are able to produce exciting films and audio-visual content that make the most of Outernet’s giant Ultra HD LED screens and immersive capabilities.
‘Sister’ is a vibrant piece of music packed with melody and emotion, written during lockdown after TSHA found out she had an older half-sister via her estranged father. “I’m very happy to have a new member of my family as I’ve not had much of that in my life. The song is an expression of all of those feelings.”
“Every single frame of the animation is hand drawn, so it was a great project to focus on during lockdown. I’ve never created anything on this scale before, but TSHA’s track was really nice to work with as it’s so open to interpretation” Alice Bloomfield.
Director Alice Bloomfield said:
“This has been an amazing opportunity and especially exciting from a creative angle, given the unique space. I’ve loved exploring the possibilities of the building and adapting my narrative to fit a 360 environment, so that the viewer is completely immersed in the world I’ve created. I’ve also never worked on anything anywhere near this scale before, so it’s going to be crazy seeing my work on the massive screens. I think having five full walls of animation paired with TSHA’s tune is going to be something really special.”
Philip O’Ferrall, CEO of Outernet Global said:
“We partnered with Black Dog Films and created TMRW NW to find the young mavericks, visionaries, and pioneers that could produce something truly jaw-dropping for those first visitors to Outernet."Alice’s vision is timely and timeless. There is something so warm and reassuring about her world that sits in perfect counterpoint to the bustle of central London life. By bringing it to life on our screens, you feel completely wrapped up in it. It’s like going for a leafy walk through a rustic paradise on a summer’s day…right outside Tottenham Court Road tube. We’re beyond excited.”
