Revamping Denmark Street, London's Tin Pan Alley - including restoring its iconic 12 Bar Club - shows how music and culture are at the heart of Outernet's thinking.
CEO Philip Bourchier O’Ferrall is passionate about Denmark Street. Speaking to the Evening Standard recently he said:
“The whole lifeblood of the project is preserving the heritage of music and entertainment. A traditional property developer would focus on turning it into the most simple shopping or restaurant-focussed street, taking any sort of retailer who may like to open, just like much of the gentrified Soho we see today.”
The Denmark Street leases contain clauses that mean only music-related tenants can replace a shop if they decide to leave Denmark Street and sell their lease.
