

The inaugural Denmark Street Songwriters Retreat will honour Denmark Street London's legacy of inspiring and cultivating songwriters - reflecting the heritage of "Tin Pan Alley” as the home of British music.
This week-long retreat beginning Mon 24th March will see attendees breaking into small groups to collaborate in the creative process of songwriting. Each evening the groups will perform a song share in different locations on Denmark Street.
The best songs from the week will be performed on a final night concert at St Giles-in-the-Fields, commonly known as the Poets’ Church.

Producing the Songwriters retreat is Trudie Myerscough-Harris. Trudie is a passionate and trusted supporter of music. She produces world-class song-writing retreats for the Buddy Holly Educational Foundation in locations as diverse as Glastonbury, Lafayette and Lubbock.
